Acne is a common skin condition and can affect people of all ages. For some it can be a debilitating condition and can make people very unhappy in their skin. Dr Eoin Spillane is our resident dermatology specialist and treats hundreds of patients over the year. He understands the impact bad skin can have on one’s confidence and is highly skilled in treating this condition.

There are many treatment types depending on the severity of the condition. Sometimes a combination of antibiotics and medicated cream can be used. Acne vulgaris can be treated with a drug that is a synthetic derivative of vitamin A.

Dr Spillane is happy to take referrals from other doctors saving the patient waiting for a hospital appointment, which may take several months.
